Hi, I am the wordsmith of the JMF team.
I have a bachelor’s degree in professional writing and publishing, which means that I am knowledgeable in many forms of writing.
Whether it be blogs, grants, feature articles or the humble ‘about me’ page, I have the skills to write them in a way to get you noticed. I pride myself on being able to capture my client’s personality in every piece that I write.
However, I am more than just a writer: I am also one of those people who enjoy correcting pieces of writing. Yes, you could call me Grammardor, a typochondriac or sergeant of the grammar police (I have to decide before getting my cards printed). That’s why you hire me to write your pieces: because you don’t want your clients going to your website and seeing it riddled with typos.
When not sharing my sparkling wit with the world, or drooling over corrections, I spend my time with my husband and two kids in (mostly) sunny North Queensland. Our weekends are spent running between sports, the gorgeous national parks or beaches, or watching Netflix (while I read a book). From March to August, you will also find me on the media bench at the Queensland Suncorp Super Netball games, as I write match reports for Netball Scoop.
So that’s me in a nutshell. If I sound like someone you would like to work with, contact JMF.
P.S. I like Grammardor
